BOLDLY GOING BACK
star trek: nemesis
It doesn’t do to ask Patrick Stewart too much about the plot-line of Star Trek X, otherwise known as Star Trek: Nemesis, which is being billed as ‘The final journey…’
Earlier this year, a website called ‘fortunecity.com’ posted what it claimed to be the complete screenplay for Nemesis - a boast that was swiftly dismissed by those in the know because of said script’s manifold mistakes and patches of ugly purple prose. But it wasn’t the fact that someone was claiming to have pirated the script that irritated Stewart: it was that moviegoers would really be interested in getting the whole story before they actually saw the movie.
DECEMBER WILL SEE THE UNVEILING OF THE 10TH STAR TREK MOVIE, NEMESIS. A CLOUD OF SECRECY CURRENTLY SURROUNDS IT, AND PREVIEW CAN’T TELL YOU TOO MUCH. BUT WE CAN SET THE SCENE - AND WE’VE GOT SOME PICTURES.

“That annoys the hell out of me,” he told Empire magazine in August. “I don’t know why people want to know what’s going to happen. What satisfaction could you get out of that? I understand people wanting to know who’s in it, who are the villains, but blow-by-blow accounts mystify me.”
