BREATHLESS Richard Gere in The Mothman Prophecies, which Sony Pictures Classics is releasing on January 25. Gere plays a journalist whose wife is killed in a freak car accident - an event which, when he tries to find out more, points him in the direction of a series of bizarre occurrences in the seemingly normal small town of Point Pleasant, West Virginia.

BACK IN ACTION Warners have finally plucked up courage to release Collateral Damage starring Arnold Schwarzenegger (pictured) on February 9. The movie was one of the higher-profile of the post-September 11 postponements because it featured a terrorist attack on a high-rise building. In the film, Arnie’s screen wife is inside, launching him on a mission to find those responsible.
