Indeed, Kasem must have felt he was on a busman’s holiday, given the hit-laden soundtrack of the movie, whose contributors range from American artists like The Baha Men, Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins (of TLC) and Isaac Hayes, to European stars such as Sinead O’Connor, Gerri Halliwell and France’s Mylene Farmer.
And, of course, all the familiar voices that have helped make the TV series a hit - EG Daily as Tommy; Christine Cavanaugh as Chuckie; Kath Soucie as Phil and Lil; Cheryl Chase as Angelica; Melanie Chartoff as Didi; Jack Riley as Stu; Michael Bell as Chas Finster; and Joe Alasky as Grandpa Pickles - are along for the ride as well.

“We wanted to find a grand arena, some place known to people of all ages,” concludes Klasky. “And that’s Paris. The script and setting underscore the city’s reputation for love and culture.”
“The writing is so very strong on this film, and gives parents and kids a chance to really connect on the same level,” adds executive producer Julia Pistor, who works for Nickelodeon. “It underscores our relationship with Klasky/Csupo: we’ve been together for so long that Rugrats in Paris is not only a great new adventure for the characters, but for all of us as well.”
